Fall-in-Age Project
Innovative Training for Technology-based Frailty and Falls Management
Fall-in-Age is an open online course focused on the use of different biomechanical technologies/methodologies for the evaluation of frailty in elderly people, also aiming at the reduction of the number of falls and other related conditions. The course will be developed considering the current technologies used in clinical environments and in academia. Hence, its contents are recommended for medical doctors, nurses and other allied health professionals in the field of geriatrics and long-term care delivery, as well as researchers and students interested in these topics. Information on the state of the project and its contents is presented in this section. The final version of the online course will be hosted on IBV Virtual Campus (https://campus.ibv.org/). Stay tuned for more information!
